Yehuda Markovits Named New Partner of Olshan Grundman Corporate Group

NEW YORK – Olshan Grundman Frome Rosenzweig & Wolosky LLP today announced that Yehuda Markovits has been named partner to the Corporate practice of the 70-attorney midtown Manhattan firm.
 
Markovits, 34, focuses his practice on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities law matters and general corporate representation. Among his representations, Markovits has counseled both issuers and underwriters/placement agents in a wide variety of U.S. and international public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, as well as tender offers and exchange offers. He also has experience representing private equity firms and private companies in convertible securities financings and other venture capital transactions, as well as structuring and negotiating complex shareholder, limited liability company and partnership agreements. Markovits' practice includes representing public and private companies in various secured and unsecured financings and representing buyers and sellers, both public and private, in mergers and asset/stock sale transactions. His practice also includes assisting foreign and domestic public companies in the preparation and filing of '34 Act reports and counseling them on a day-to-day basis in general corporate, corporate governance and securities law matters. Prior to joining the firm, Markovits was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP from September 1998 to August 2006.
