Francisca Mok Joins Reed Smith’s Century City Office Global Regulatory Enforcement Group

(May 5, 2010, Century City, CA) - Reed Smith LLP today announced the addition of Francisca M. "Cisca" Mok to its Global Regulatory Enforcement Group. Ms. Mok will work in the firm's Century City office.

Ms. Mok was formerly a partner in the Los Angeles office of McDermott, Will & Emery, where she began her career in 1999.  For the past three years Cisca has been named a Southern California Rising Star by Law and Politics Magazine.

Ms. Mok has experience representing clients before the SEC, and in shareholder class action and derivative lawsuits. She also has represented an array of clients, including hospitals and retailers, in consumer class actions and commercial disputes. Ms. Mok worked closely for many years at McDermott with Global Regulatory Enforcement partner James L. Sanders, who joined Reed Smith in 2009.

Ms. Mok graduated from UCLA School of Law in 1999 and earned a B.A in Government from Harvard University in 1995.  She served as an extern at the Oregon Supreme Court during law school.

Ms. Mok is the second partner to join Reed Smith's Century City office in the last month.  Michael S. Sherman, an entertainment finance expert, was added to the Corporate & Securities Group in mid-April.
