Joseph F. Daniels Joins Hodgson Russ LLP

NEW YORK - Joseph F. Daniels has joined Hodgson Russ as a partner in the law firm's New York City office.  Mr. Daniels is a member of a number of the firm's practice groups, including its Corporate & Securities Practice Group, and he chairs the Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Practice Group.

Mr. Daniels represents companies, private equity and venture capital funds, and investment banks in a wide range of corporate, finance, and securities law matters.  His experience includes representing public and private targets and acquirers in mergers and acquisitions; companies and venture capital firms in private equity and debt offerings; issuers and investment banks in initial and follow-on public offerings of equity and debt securities; private equity firms in leveraged acquisitions; and companies in obtaining secured lines of credit, equipment financing, and other loans. Mr. Daniels also provides general corporate advice for public and private companies. He has represented clients in a number of industries, including the asset protection, biotech, cleantech, digital media, health care, financial services, semiconductor, software, and telecommunications industries.
