Supreme Court to address constitutionality of Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, created by Sarbanes-Oxley
In Free Enterprise Fund v. Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, No. 08-861, the Supreme Court is expected to address the constitutionality of Congress’s creation of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board through the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Oral arguments were heard in December 2009.
