Robert Fusfeld is a lecturer at the University of Denver Institute for Public Policy Studies where he teaches graduate and undergraduate classes. He retired from the Securities and Exchange Commission in 2006 after a 31 year career as an enforcement attorney. For fifteen years before his retirement he was manager of SEC litigation for the SEC Denver office. He supervised all SEC litigation for that office and managed a staff of six lawyers and 3 paralegals. He has personally tried dozens of SEC enforcement actions and has supervised hundreds of SEC enforcement investigations. He is a FINRA public arbitrator and publishes a blog, SEC Tea Party, that comments on SEC administrative decisions.
