Christine Nielsen, assistant attorney general for the State of Illinois, brought the perspective of a state agency to a lively discussion of breach notification laws during the NetDiligence® 2nd Annual Cyber Risk & Privacy Liability Forum, produced by HB Litigation Conferences in Philadelphia on June 9, 2011. Nielsen talked about how breaches are investigated under her state's law and how many smaller companies are still unaware of their breach notification obligations.
