BP Accuses Halliburton Of Destroying Cement Testing Data

NEW ORLEANS - (Mealey's) BP on Dec. 5 filed a motion in the multidistrict litigation court in Louisiana federal court for claims arising from the explosion of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig and ensuing oil spill, seeking sanctions against Halliburton Energy Services Inc. based on the company's alleged spoliation of post-incident cement testing data and computer modeling (In re: Oil Spill by the oil rig "Deepwater Horizon" in the Gulf of Mexico, on April 20, 2010, MDL No. 2179, E.D.
