Privacy Group Sues FTC To Enjoin Google's Pending Terms Of Use Changes

WASHINGTON, D.C. A nonprofit public interest group on Feb. 8 filed a complaint against the Federal Trade Commission in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, seeking to enjoin newly announced privacy policies by Google Inc. that it says would violate the Internet giant's prior consent order with the commission (Electronic Privacy Information Center v. The Federal Trade Commission, No. 1:12-cv-00206, D. D.C.).
