Judge Finds Adjuster Improperly Joined, Denies Remand Motion

HOUSTON - The plaintiff in a workers' compensation benefits lawsuit failed to allege any plausible claims against her insurer's claims adjuster, a Texas federal judge ruled Feb. 24, finding the adjuster improperly joined and denying the plaintiff's motion to remand the case to state court (Faith N. Hill v. The Travelers Indemnity Co., et al., No. 4:11-cv-04146, S.D. Texas; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 23614).
