Panel Upholds Judgment To Insurance Agents On Negligence Claim

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Court of Appeals on Feb. 29 affirmed the entry of summary judgment in favor of an insurance agent and his agency regarding negligence claims, finding that the state Legislature intended Iowa Code Section 522B.11(7), which discussed an insurance agent's duty, to be applied retroactively (Jerome R.
