Pennsylvania Federal Judge Dismisses Patent Case Over Jurisdiction

HARRISBURG, Pa. - Finding that a patent infringement plaintiff has failed to meet the three requirements for specific jurisdiction set forth in Zippo Mfg. Co. v. Zippo Dot Com (952 F. Supp. 1119, 1122-23 $(W.D. Pa. 1997$)), a Pennsylvania federal judge on April 10 dismissed the case (Surface Preparation Technologies v.
