Texas Federal Judge Denies Judgment To Restaurant On EEOC's Claims
HOUSTON - Pregnancy discrimination claims made by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission against a Tex-Mex restaurant are bolstered enough by both direct and indirect evidence to survive a summary judgment bid by the restaurant, a Texas federal judge held Dec. 19 (U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission v. Taqueria Rodeo de Jalisco, No. 4:11-cv-03444, S.D. Texas; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 179552).
