ATLANTA - The 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Jan. 17 upheld the denial of a prison transport supervisor's age bias claim, finding that the plaintiff failed to show that the project manager's discriminatory animus was the "but-for" cause of his termination or that the project manager acted as a mere cat's paw for the assistant project manager's discriminatory animus (Solomon Sims, Jr. v. MVM, Inc., No. 11-14481, 11th Cir.; 2013 U.S. App. LEXIS 1130). Full story on lexis.com
