Federal Judge Denies Class Certification In Credit Card Suit

LOS ANGELES - A federal judge in California on Jan. 16 denied class certification in a suit alleging that Chase Bank USA NA misled Circuit City Stores Inc. credit card holders, finding that there is a genuine dispute of material fact regarding certain purchases the plaintiff made because he might have violated the credit card agreement by using the card for business purposes (Gary Davis v.
