Washington Appeals Panel Rules Woman's Injury Did Not Occur On The Job

TACOMA, Wash. - The Washington Court of Appeals on Jan. 16 upheld summary judgment for the defendants in a workplace accident case, agreeing that the plaintiff was not acting under the course of her employment at the time of her alleged injury (Leigh Ann Shoffner v. State of Washington, et al., No. 41892-4-II, Wash. App., Div. 2; 2013 Wash. App. LEXIS 67).
