D.C. Court Reverses Dismissal Of Tenant's Housing Code Violation Claims

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A District of Columbia appeals court on Jan. 24 reversed a decision that found in favor of a landlord, finding that a tenant who alleged that her rental property contained water and mold did not waive the right to assert a retaliation defense and that she should have been permitted to introduce an affidavit about a leak in the building's roof (Kisha Bridges v.
