Texas Judge Denies Judgment On The Pleadings In Copyright Case

HOUSTON - Deeming a copyright infringement claim over copying and dissemination of an electronic newsletter "viable," a Texas federal judge on Jan. 28 denied a defendant's motion for judgment on the pleadings (Energy Intelligence Group Inc., et al. v. Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. Securities Inc., No. 12-1945, S.D. Texas).
