2nd Circuit Ruling May Force FDA's Hand In Banning Antibacterial Soap Chemical

NEW YORK - An environmental advocacy group has standing to sue the Food and Drug Administration to force it to finalize a drug monograph that may ban one ingredient in antibacterial soaps, but its lacks standing as to another antibacterial, a federal appeals court panel ruled March 15 in reversing summary judgment for the federal government (Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc. v.
