William L. Kaplowitz is an associate in Jenner & Block’s Chicago office. He is a member of the Firm’s Environmental, Energy and Natural Resources Law and the Climate and Clean Technology Law Practice.
Mr. Kaplowitz graduated, magna cum laude, with a B.A. in mathematics from Columbia University in 2003. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 2008, graduating cum laude. During law school, Mr. Kaplowitz served as a contributing editor on the Michigan Journal of Race & Law and as a student attorney in the Urban Communities Clinic. While attending the University of Michigan, he also received a Master of Urban Planning from the A. Alfred Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, which awarded him a Raoul K. Wallenberg Scholarship. From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Kaplowitz served as a staff law clerk in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
