Calif. Federal Judge Remands Denial Of Benefits To Plan Administrator For Review

LOS ANGELES - A California federal judge on Dec. 11 remanded a denial of health care benefits case to a health insurer for further proceedings after determining that the insurer abused its discretion by failing to adequately perform certain duties (Judith O. Hollinger v. California Physicians' Services, et al., No. 12-396, C.D. Calif.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 175552).
