DePuy ASR™ Hip System cases in California have been consolidated by the Judicial Council into a single coordinated action before Judge Richard A. Kramer in San Francisco Superior Court. Known as JCCP Case Number 4649, the Court has ordered electronic service of documents in these cases with File & Serve.
Parties will begin serving their litigation documents in the DePuy ASR™ Hip System cases electronically on August 5, 2011.
With more than 700 DePuy ASR™ Hip System cases filed in jurisdictions across California, Judge Kramer and Liaison Counsel quickly recognized the efficiencies of case and document management in this large litigation with electronic document service.
