File & Serve Multiple pdf Upload

It would be great if we could upload multiple pdfs in File & Serve or one large pdf at once. Last time I checked, the application's upload size limitations forced our firm to break apart the pdf into sep sections and we had to upload each one separately instead of being able to upload one single but larger pdf.

GMan Legal, the File & Serve system already allows for multiple documents to be loaded into one transaction, regardless of whether it is PDF, DOC, WPD, JPEG, etc.  However, per the rules of the courts that have enabled e-filing, there are transaction and document size limitations.  The courts define how large the entire transaction on File & Serve (essentially, the e-file “envelope”) can be, and many courts also limit the individual document file size that is being attached.  The reason courts do this is so that reviewing e-filed documents does not have a detrimental impact on the court’s network and their ability to use other web-based applications.  While LexisNexis does work with the courts on helping determine the proper transaction and document size limits, it is ultimately the decision of the court or administrative body as to what those limits will be.
