BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Because the evidence available to an equipment breakdown insurer indicated that it would not be named in underlying suits arising out of a gas explosion, the insurer is owed coverage for the claims against it under an errors and omissions (E&O) policy, a Connecticut federal judge said May 19 (Hartford Steam Boiler Group Inc. v. SVB Underwriting Ltd., No. 04-2127, D. Conn.; 2011 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 53743). Lexis.com subscribers can download the Memorandum of Decision by the court. Full story on lexis.com
