Judge: Insurer Had No Duty To Advise Of Tax Liability, Did Not Act In Bad Faith

NEW ORLEANS - A Louisiana federal judge on Dec. 11 held that an insurer had no legal obligation to inform a life insurance policyholder of the tax consequences for terminating her policy and, thus, did not act in bad faith by allegedly failing to do so (Bernice F.
