Insurer Drops Claim For Pre-Pleading Security Against Reinsurer

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - An insurer told a Connecticut federal court on Jan. 21 that its reinsurer has paid the principal amount owed and, therefore, is not required to post more than $450,000 in pre-pleading security (Travelers Casualty and Surety Company f/k/a The Aetna Casualty and Surety Company v.
