Keisha Carter of LexisNexis Leads Legal Research Presentation at ABA Insurance Meeting

On Thursday, March 3, Keisha Carter of LexisNexis and Joanne Sarasin of Much Shelist Denenberg Ament & Rubenstein, PC led a presentation at the ABA’s 2011 Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee CLE. The presentation Brave New World: Legal Research and the Coverage Attorney provided  innovative techniques for legal research for both experienced insurance practitioners and those new to the practice of insurance. Ms. Carter provided attendees with an in-depth review of two LexisNexis electronic research tools: LexisNexis Insurance Practice Center available through lexis.com for lexis subscribers and the LexisNexis Insurance Law Community available on the open web. Both tools provide opportunities for practitioners to save time and resources by commencing research in a targeted manner utilizing the resources applicable to their discrete issue or task. Each of these products cull all of LexisNexis’ insurance resources into easy to use tools creating targeted research results.
