Vance A. Woodward is a commercial litigation associate in the San Francisco office of Carroll, Burdick & McDonough LLP. He specializes in environmental, mass tort and bad faith insurance coverage litigation, and complex allocation calculations. Mr. Woodward has litigated coverage disputes in a wide variety of disputes including those concerning negligent supervision, construction defects, rescission, and bad faith. He is skilled at developing spreadsheet-based models to calculate allocations among multiple policies and insurers using all types of triggers and allocation methodologies.
Mr. Woodward received his LL.B. from the Osgoode Hall Law School of York University, where he received several awards. He also has an M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business of York University, and a B.S. in chemistry, with distinction, from the University of Winnipeg.
