Following the success of Fulbright's
2007 and 2009 China Arbitration Conferences, we held our third China
Arbitration Conference in Beijing this October.
This half-day conference addressed a
range of current topics affecting Western and Chinese parties facing or considering arbitration
in China and Asia.
Speakers included Fulbright lawyers Mark Baker, Jeff Blount,
Richard Hill,
Jie Zhang
and James Rogers,
along with leading arbitrators and corporate counsel. There was also a panel
discussion between representatives of the main arbitral institutions active in
Asia, including ICC, CIETAC, HKIAC, SIAC and ACICA.
The attached presentation materials
provide information on the topics of "Recent Developments Affecting
International Arbitration in China and Asia" and "Tips for
Drafting Arbitration Clauses in China-Related Contracts" explained
in the presentations given by partner Richard Hill and
senior associate James Rogers.
