DALLAS - A Texas federal judge on Dec. 3 granted a motion to confirm an arbitration award that fell under the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards and was issued in an asset dispute, finding that the arbitrator did not exceed his authority or that a party was not bound by the award (Jay Nanda v.
