Federal Judge Grants Shipping Company's Motion To Amend

NEW YORK - A New York federal judge on Dec. 13 granted a request by a defunct shipping company to amend its complaint to name its successor-in-interest as the plaintiff in a petition to confirm a London arbitration award issued in its favor, finding that denial of the request would be premature (Daebo International Shipping Co., Ltd. v. Americas Bulk Transport $(BVI$) Ltd., et al., No. 12-4750, S.D. N.Y.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 177051).
