City Attorney Fired for Filing Toyota Lawsuit

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (AP) - New Albany has fired its city attorney allegedly because he filed a lawsuit against Toyota, which plans to open a plant in nearby Blue Springs.

Robert M. Carter said he'll fight his dismissal, which came last week after aldermen met in a closed-door session.
