Ten Questions You Should Ask
When you are given a new assignment by your boss, ask the following questions:
1) When is it due?
2) How much time should I spend on it?
3) Has someone in the office done a similar project before?
4) How does this assignment fit into the overall case?
5) What result are you looking for?
6) After I finish this assignment, what else will you need me to do on this case?
7) How do you want me to present you the answer (handful of cases, memo, a motion, or something else)?
8) What documents should I review?
9) Do you want updates along the way?
10) If I can't find the answer, what do you recommend I do?
