Where can you find external model documents to use in drafting compelling briefs, pleadings, and motions? Are you skilled in gathering intelligence on experts, opposing parties, attorneys, and judges? Where do you turn when you cannot find support for a particular legal argument?

Your ability to perform these tasks both comprehensively and cost-efficiently can impress senior attorneys, increase client satisfaction, and even enhance firm profits. But what resources can you tap to accomplish this work?

Strengthen your firm’s litigation strategies by using the LexisNexis® editorially selected collection of briefs, pleadings, and motions, along with CourtLink® Single Search. Through tools available only from LexisNexis, you can easily access this unique combination of dockets and court-filed documents to achieve a variety of objectives:

·         Find legal arguments that may be unaddressed in traditional legal research sources, such as case opinions, treatises, and law reviews.

·         Conduct more thorough investigations of experts, opposing counsel, and parties through review of court documents containing critical information that is often not included in case opinions.

·         Gain insights about how a judge handles certain types of lawsuits.

·         Draft quality briefs, pleadings, and motions by uncovering previously filed documents for use as templates.
