4th Circuit Affirms Rejection Of Fees For Prevailing Party In Harassment Suit

RICHMOND, Va. - A restaurant owner who successfully fought off sexual harassment charges brought against it by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission failed to show that it had the right to recover attorney fees and costs, the Fourth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled Jan. 26 upholding a district court ruling (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission v. Great Steaks, Incorporated, No. 10-1756, 4th Cir.).
