Veterans Court Finds VA Benefits Properly Granted In Ulcer Case

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims on Jan. 26 affirmed a Board of Veterans' Appeals decision denying entitlement to benefits for gastritis and peptic ulcer disease prior to Aug. 29, 2002. The appeals court found that the board did not commit "clear and unmistakable error" when it granted the benefits in 2002 (Lester H. Goldstein v. Eric K.
