3rd Circuit Affirms Dismissal Of Ambulance Provider's Reimbursement Suit

PHILADELPHIA - A Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel in a Jan. 25 unpublished opinion affirmed the dismissal of a reimbursement suit brought by ambulance providers against insurance companies, agreeing that the providers are not part of the class of health care providers covered by a Pennsylvania state statute governing the right of providers to receive direct or timely payment for emergency or other medical services (Ambulance Association of Pennsylvania, et al. v.
