Insurer Must Pay Default Judgment In Contamination Suit

NEW YORK - Because environmental contamination that caused property damage was the result of a pollution condition pursuant to the terms of an insurance policy, the insurer must pay a default judgment entered against its insured, a New York federal judge said Jan. 26 (Sunnyside Development Co.
