California Company Settles Claims Involving Advertising Of Hair Blowout Products

LOS ANGELES - California Attorney General Kamala D. Harris on Jan. 30 announced a $ 600,000 settlement with the manufacturer of Brazilian Blowout hair products that will require the company to warn consumers and hair stylists that two of its hair smoothing products emit formaldehyde gas (People v. GIB LLC, No 4657, Calif. Sup., Los Angeles Co.).
