Oklahoma Federal Judge Affirms Health Insurer's Benefits Decision

TULSA, Okla. - An Oklahoma federal judge on Jan. 30 affirmed that an insurance company properly determined the amount of benefits a patient's health care providers were owed for providing out-of-network services (McKel E. Mock v. Principal Life Insurance Co., No. 08-769, N.D. Okla.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 10544).
