Federal Judge Denies HHS Motion To Dismiss, Remand Rate Dispute

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A District of Columbia federal judge on Feb. 1 denied a motion by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to dismiss and remand for administrative proceedings a dispute with several hospitals over how the department calculates Medicare inpatient payment rates (Adirondack Medical Center, et al., v.
