• If you are going to present expert witnesses, prepare the jury for that fact during jury selection
• Favor jurors who will relate to your lay witnesses
• Favor jurors with whom you have a rapport
• Engage the jury panel ~ get them to open up
• Understand how to use challenges for cause as a sword or a shield
• Sell your case during jury selection
