Pros and Cons of Specialization during a Recession

When the economy was booming, attorneys specializing in real estate acquisitions and other growing areas were busy and in demand.  At that time some attorneys believed the old adage, "Specialize or Die."  Now that the economy is faltering and specialties that were hot are now struggling for business, consider instead shifting that advice to "Generalize to Survive."
