Michael Bergmann is the Director of Programs at PILI (Public Interest Law Initiative), he advocates for attorneys to provide free legal services to "those teetering on the edge" because he strongly believes it's critical to "give a hand to those who have no one else reaching out to them." As Secretary-Treasurer of ABA Young Lawyers Division and his other bar association involvement, he has the opportunity to learn and advocate issues impacting young lawyers as well as access to justice and racial and ethnic diversity. And with a firm commitment to help his community, he's president of his neighborhood block club, a director of his community organization and is on the council of his local high school.
