Jurors Discuss Demonstrative Evidence

Seeing is understanding when it comes to evidence at trial.  Can you show photos or animation of the products and processes that are key to your case? Actual jurors from two California asbestos cases — Prough v. Allis Chalmers in Los Angeles County Superior Court and Beauchamp v. Allis Chalmers in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California — shared their views about evidence they saw — and remembered — in the courtroom. The pair spoke during The National Asbestos Litigation Conference on Sept. 23-25, 2009, in San Francisco, produced by HB Litigation Conferences. The panel was moderated by Susan Fillichio of DecisionQuest, with questions presented by Michael Pietrykowski of Gordon & Rees, co-chair of the conference. See what they had to say.
