Federal Circuit Vacates Takings Ruling By Federal Claims Court

WASHINGTON, D.C. Although an inventor's amended complaint was "difficult to follow" and "not a model of clarity," it "clearly alleges" the taking of trade secrets by the federal government, the Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled Feb. 9 (Benjamin Gal-Or v. United States, No. 11-5122, Fed. Cir.; 2012 U.S. App. LEXIS 2482).
