Ohio Court: Promissory Note Is Not A Protected Asset Under Medicaid

DELAWARE, Ohio The Fifth District Ohio Court of Appeals for Delaware County on Feb. 14 held that a promissory note purchased by the spouse of a nursing home resident is not a protected community asset for the purposes of determining Medicaid benefits eligibility (Paul Montgomery, et al., v.
