Bankruptcy Court Should Lift Stay; Case Against JP Morgan Valid, Insurer Says

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. A financial company with claims against bankrupt municipality Jefferson County, Ala., on Feb. 23 moved in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama, seeking relief from the automatic stay in order to pursue a related lawsuit in the State of New York (In Re: Jefferson County, Alabama, No. 11-5736, Chapter 9, N.D.
