10th Circuit Upholds Child Porn Convictions Over Interstate Commerce Arguments

DENVER Even though two men convicted of downloading and distributing child pornography via the Internet may not have directly received or distributed the illegal items across state lines, a majority in the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Feb. 24 found, after en banc rehearing, that their federal convictions were sufficiently supported by the fact that the pornographic items had crossed state lines at some point prior to the men's possession of them (United States of America v.
