Doe Defendants' Motion To Quash Discovery Subpoena In File-Sharing Case Denied

GREENBELT, Md. - Ruling that an adult film producer needs to be able to identify potential defendants to pursue copyright infringement claims against them, a Maryland federal judge on Feb. 28 denied three Doe defendants' motions to quash a subpoena served on their Internet service providers (ISPs) (Third Degree Films Inc. v. Does 1-108, No. 8:11-cv-03007, D. Md.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 25400).
