Federal Judge Confirms International Award For California Film Company

LOS ANGELES - A California federal judge on Dec. 18 granted a California company's petition to confirm an international arbitration award issued in its favor and against a Belgium film company in a dispute over a distribution agreement but denied a request to terminate the underlying agreement for lack of jurisdiction (Hannibal Pictures v.
